Background

I searched all around the web and found several architects to interview to help us with plans. The one who seemed to meet our needs was Jeremy Miller from Metropolitan Design Studio. He was really amazing to work with. He came out with an assistant to measure the whole house. He was very responsive to our requests for design. He met our timeline exactly. We've run into a couple of hiccups and he's been able to find solutions for us in just a couple of days. I really can't say enough good things about him! Here's some of our demo.

We're going to reconfigure the master bath. Move a couple of walls in the master bedroom to make it bigger. We'll reface the fireplace with stacked stone. Take out the cabinet to the left of the fireplace to make the living room and family room more connected. We will add more hardwood floors to living room and family room. We're taking out a soffit in the den to make that room look more open. Add a little trim here and there. Viola!
